Free Your Workload - Keep Your Style - Grow Your Brand

Hello fellow photographers!

I see you out there working hard to capture the moment, the emotion, and everything else we love about this passion. We spend a lot of valuable time doing what we do, and even more time behind the computer editing after we’ve put the camera down.

Typical workflow.

Sit down. Upload. Open and sort through your freshly shot photos. See the moments you’ve captured. Edit your favorites first to see how they will look. YAY – great stuff!

It’s all exciting, but after a while, after 100s of photos, the excitement wears down. Now, you’re ready to see that last photo finished so you can spend the rest of the evening with the ones you love, or maybe have some ME time.

What if I told you...

You don’t have to spend hours in front of the computer. Put your work/life balance in order and consider one-on-one private photo editing. Gaining that time back is more valuable than you can imagine! Sounds good, right? Let’s continue…

Let me introduce myself.

Hi, I’m Cody. Travel, adventure, nature, and new places all keep my fire burning on this interesting rock we live on – adding over a decade of passion for photography on top has allowed me to capture my vision in a strikingly visual form. For as long as I’ve been shooting, I’ve been editing and manipulating photos – as well as working as a graphic and web designer. I have developed a sharp and creative eye over these years and I am offering my streamlined one-on-one photo editing services to help lighten your load and give back more of your time.

Who are my services for?

Whether you are a wedding & elopement photographer, shoot portraits, or do commercial & event work, a private photo editor is a fantastic service to help manage and free up your time for more important things – especially if you are a high-volume busy professional.

The thought of outsourcing your images sounds daunting. Giving control over YOUR images is not something to take lightly. And what about your style of editing? That’s what makes these photos YOURS! Well, I’m here to tell you not to worry…

The workflow I use as a professional editor allows me to make high quality edits in YOUR STYLE – using your presets, preferences, and adjustments as a base. Cool, right?

It gets even better. The whole process from start to finish is so incredibly easy, streamlined, and fast that you’ll wonder why you’ve never considered this sooner!

How does it work?

I’ve put together a really simple system for you to incorporate into your workflow. We’ll go over the streamlined process in detail (with step-by-step instructions) when you are ready to jump on board. But to keep it short, here’s a quick overview on how it works:

Step 1

Send your catalog of photos via our shared folder on Dropbox or Drive.

Step 2

I edit according to the reference photos of each scene that you’ve provided in your catalog. The photos you send will be smart previews, not the RAW files.

Step 3

2-3 days later you’ll receive an email from me containing the freshly edited photos with Lightroom’s Develop Panel adjustments all in tact!

Step 4

Import your catalog and review the photos, export, and send off to your client. Boom, everyone is a very happy camper.

Why invest in working with a private photo editor?

You get a one-on-one personal service from ME, not some big box company. With that, we will build a relationship. I will get to know your style and needs – in turn producing better results and consistency for you. Think of me as a member of your team!

You’ll have more time to spend as you feel fit, like:

  • growing other aspects of your business.
  • spending time with your family, spouse, or friends.
  • investing in personal time, hobbies, or other interests.

What's included?

  • A private photo editor committed to learning your unique style/aesthetic for consistency to your brand.
  • Step-by-step documentation for a simple workflow.
  • Client portal for contracts, invoicing, payment, etc.
  • Lightroom’s Develop Panel adjustments + cropping & straightening.
  • Shared Dropbox folder for catalog exchanging and mood boards for reference images. Also, other files like an editing feedback document where I keep feedback about your style, needs, etc.
  • 2-3 business day turnaround.

Still not sure if a photo editor is right for you?

I get it. It’s a tough decision to let go of a process that you have worked so hard on – to give up control of your editing. Having experience in shooting weddings and portraits myself, I know where you are coming from.

But sometimes change is what’s needed to grow. If you are serious about your business as a professional photographer, it might be time to try something new.

If you have any questions or concerns, we can set up a discovery call to see if this is the right fit for you as we get to know each other.

For a little taste, I’m offering a free trial run! Send me a sample catalog (100 images or less) and you can get a better idea of the whole process and how simple it is!
